Anne Raymond was born in Washington D.C. and grew up in Dallas. She
received a BFA from the University of Texas at Austin, worked as an
illustrator, and attended the School of Visual Arts after moving to New
York City in 1988.
Raymond paintings have been featured at the Guild Hall Museum in East
Hampton NY and the Islip Art Museum in Islip NY. Gallery exhibits have
been held in New York, Chicago, Madison, WI, Dallas, Santa Monica,
Denver, and Portland, Oregon. Important corporate collections which
include her work are those of Goldman Sachs, Saks Fifth Avenue,
Colgate-Palmolive, United Parcel Service, United Airlines, the Bellagio in
Las Vegas, the law firm of Skadden, Arps et al, and the accounting firm of
Deloitte and Touche.
Raymond lives and works in the SoHo district of New York City and in East
Hampton on Long Island.
